Thorpes BOXERS is family owned.We run a small breeding program of Beautiful AKC Boxers with exceptional healthy bloodlines, with calm loveable temperment. We take great pride in producing healthy, intelligent Boxers, all carefully selected to compliment the AKC breed standards.
Special attention is paid to temperaments as well as the health of the individual dogs being bred
The Care of our dogs is top priority around our home.
All puppies born here at Thorpes BOXERS are watched closely and cared for with top importance from birth until they go to their new homes at 6 to 8 weeks old.
The puppies will have tails docked and dew claws removed at 3 days old. They will also receive their first vaccinations by our Vet at the appropriate age. Every puppy will be checked by my vet approximately 3 to 4 times within the first 6-7 weeks of age. We usually start the puppies on soft Purina Puppy Chow and the puppies will be Dewormed at age 3 weeks. The puppies will also be dewormed every week until they leave our home.
New puppy owners will be provided: AKC Registration application, Vaccination records, Purina Puppy Care Package, Contract from Thorpes Boxers and information on the puppy that they are buying.
Boxers are intelligent, easily trained; family dogs that love to accompany their family in both work and play. This is an energetic breed that requires a backyard to roam, and the warmth and comfort of the home away from heat and cold.
We do ask that our buyers send us updates/ PICS on the puppy when it becomes 8 mts old, again at 1 year and once a year thereafter the rest of the puppy's life. These updates can be sent by email or regular mail.
